Who even are you?

I'm Autumn, someone passionate for creating a hub for easily accessible shimejis, and the creator of this site!

What are shimejis?

I can't find anything (right now) on the 1.0 version of the program, but the 2.0 version of the program was created

by Yuki Yamada of Group Finity! Since then, they have evolved to support multiple languages by people such as Kilkakon on DeviantArt.

They also come in many different forms as the result of several artists!

Are any of these shimejis yours?

Unless stated otherwise, NONE OF THESE SHIMEJIS ARE MINE.

I would like to submit a shimeji. Where can I?

I'm an artist for a shimeji and I wish to have it taken down from the site.

Please contact me at shimejiarchive@gmail.com with proof and I'll take it down.

What constitutes a shimeji being put in the archive?

After a bit of consideration, I have come up with a few requirements:

1.) It is not already easily available through an artist's social media/website.

2.) I have permission from the artist to put the shimeji here.

3.) The original means of downloading the shimeji are gone OR are at risk of being gone.

You have artists on your website that are problematic!

I know, but the program they created is detatched enough from their beliefs (and is SFW) that I decided to add it.

Please exercise caution when looking into any artist mentioned on the archive, and do not send them any harassment.

It may seem silly that I've said this thrice, but I feel it's important for me to hammer this into peoples' heads.
